My name is Scott Pfefferle, also known Rip.tideart on Instagram. I am a senior at Montclair State University, working on completing my BFA in Illustration, with a Myth Studies Minor, and I am graduating in Fall 2026. I am an Illustrator who is looking to break into the comics and graphic novel industry and has a strong interest in the ocean/marine life and mythology, but through being at MSU, I have developed many other interests and skills. Overtime I have developed experience in Character Design, Portraiture, Visual Development, Typography, and Product and Packaging while studying as an Illustrator. Through all of these skills that I learned, I am able to apply them to my own artwork and also apply them to my own work of storytelling through art of the visual narrative, to tell my own stories that I have and ideas that I hope to make a reality one day.​

     Being an Illustrator means the world to me, and I am very excited for what the future holds for me in the Art/Illustration world, and I can't wait to make my own comics and draw into the world my own stories of fantasy and show representation from the LGBTQ+ Community that I am a proud member of.
