The art illustrations shown below are just some of the many character design projects that I have created while being at MSU. Most of these art pieces are from my Character Design course, but some of the other illustrations are scattered in from semesters after I took the course as well. From these amazing assignments, I was able to learn how to do character sheets properly, experiment with character lineups and how important body language is to distinguish the characters in the lineups, and improve my emotions on characters. It actually helped me develop an idea for a story called Warriors of Al-Terra, through creating characters for a character lineup, which I really hope to develop into a full-blown graphic novel professionally one day in the future. With Character Design being such an important part of the Illustration world and visual storytelling. I cannot wait for more opportunities to create more original characters in the future.
